About Ben

My name is Ben Shrack and I'm twenty-six years old. By day, I'm a barista and by later-that-day, I'm an intern at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry in Redding, California

I have a passion for writing and talking about real things.

I love counseling and inner healing (because I've had to walk through it myself) and seeing people at their full potential.

I love people and I love community and I love figuring out how to do it.

My heart is for everyone to know the love of God--no matter who they are--and encounter His truth fully.

One day, my dream isn't to have everything, but to be everything He's called me to be. I want to be heart-healthy. I want to live a life wholeheartedly--creating a place for joy, vulnerability, laughter, peace and freedom. I want to be known for the very things the devil tried to steal from me and I want to be an example of what it looks like to be a man in this culture today.

I'm single but not dying. I can't wait to be a husband and father. I can't wait to have a wife to die for everyday. I can't wait to show my kids what life is about and to show them the love of God.

The goal of this blog is to talk about things we struggle to talk about--let's take away the awkwardness.
